Main Street Landing – Black Box Theatre

The Main Street Landing Black Box Theater is a 39′ by 54′ traditional Black Box Theater, now equipped with a Stage Right seating riser system which offers a variety of seating options for theatrical productions, dance and music events, and banquets and receptions. It is also equipped with a full lighting grid, theatrical sound system, built-in projector and 17′ projection screen. A Black Box Rental includes use of the Green Room, Equipment (with approval), and Box Office.

The Black Box Green Room

The Black Box Green Room is included in every rental of the Black Box Theater. It is outfitted with two large chorus dressing rooms with private bathrooms, a shower, a kitchenette, as well as two additional private rooms with doors that lock. Access to the Green Room is included ONLY if you rent the Black Box Theatre. It cannot be rented separately.

$800 Per Day

$400 Per Day for Non-Profits & Performances

$150 Per Dark Day (Performances Only)

Please note a 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon receipt of invoice. The other 50% is due two weeks prior to your event.

If you rent the Main Street Landing Black Box and need use of the control/lighting booth or microphones you will need a technical tutorial and sign-out before you can get access. Please contact the Performing Arts Center Office at 802-540-3018 to arrange an appointment. We do have a list of electrical lighting technicians (ELT) who are approved to work in the theater. Contact us if you need to hire an ELT. You can use your own ELT but they will have to be approved and given a tutorial. NO ACCESS OR USE of the Control room without a technical tutorial and approval. Once you have been signed off for use in the space you do not need to do the tutorial again.
