Nora Austin Murphy

Nora is a director, actor, PA, and AD with 4 years of experience in the industry, both in Vermont and in her second-home of Prague, Czech Republic. She wrote, directed, and produced her own short film for festivals called “Danni and the Sleep Monster,” and participated on the teams of countless other projects, such as feature films, commercials, and social media content. She also worked as a production manager for the Czech feature film, “Princezna na hrašku,” which is now streaming on Amazon Prime and Czech Netflix.

As an actor, Nora has won two awards for work on various short films and also played a major role in the indie feature film, “Embug,” which will premiere in 2026. She has a degree in Theatre and Film Studies from the University of Vermont and has trained with such notable coaches as David Penn and Adam Davenport.
