Help Fund Indie Film ‘Boris & Natasha’
We are raising funds to create a union microbudget indie film, “Boris & Natasha.” In this dramedy short, the chaotic dynamics of a close, caring and complicated family* fly over a beloved patriarch’s deathbed – where it seems only death can shut them up. Donations will help pay for cast & crew food & transportation, as well as key professional crew & equipment use. Donors will be thanked in the film credits (please note if you prefer not to), and have our deepest gratitude!
“Boris & Natasha” is co-produced by SAG-AFTRA members Marci Diamond, MPA & Marisa Diamond, BFA, MHSHP as their first joint filmmaking venture, and written, directed, and edited by Marisa Diamond.
Script is complete, we have begun preproduction, and will be shooting April 2-4 in VT, with editing and completion planned in time to submit for 2027 festivals!
Edgewood Studios is looking for a talented Assistant Editor / Editor to help restore and rebuild a slate of independent feature films for international streaming distribution.
You’ll be working directly with filmmaker David Giancola, helping transfer and rebuild films originally shot on 16mm and 35mm, conforming them to original edits and preparing 4K UHD masters.
Ideal candidates will have:
Most work can be remote, with occasional time in Rutland, Vermont working directly with the director (housing available when on-site).

Edgewood Studios in Rutland, VT is looking for a Post-Production Assistant to help support the editorial team on a series of independent feature films being prepared for international distribution.
This is a great hands-on opportunity for someone interested in editing, post-production, or film production.

ACTORS: There are multiple available adult roles, and 1 young child role. Both union and non-union actors are welcome to submit, as we have submitted a SAG-AFTRA microbudget agreement. .
CREW: We are currently in need of a DP, sound designer/engineer and gaffer, preferably with your own equipment, and HMU artist, preferably with your own kit (no SFX). We also need a couple of PAs, and students are welcome
